Berg-en-Dal Pregnancy Crises Centre

BERG-&-DAL PREGNANCY CRISIS CENTRE

Berg-en-Dal Pregnancy Crisis Centre has been caring for pregnant
teenagers since 1958.  The centre supports and provides security
to unwed mothers during a time of great uncertainty and fear.
The Centre is a registered non-profit organization that identified
the emotional and social need of unmarried pregnant girls. We provide
a secure environment against the rejection and scrutiny of the community.
With counselling and guidance these girls can make an informed decision
about their future as well as the future of their unborn babies.

Through the support of our Social Workers and intensive therapeutic
programs, the girls have the opportunity to re-build their self esteem
and relationships with others.  We work towards restoring faith in
themselves, their fellow-man and above all, their Creator.

              We offer the following services:

·  Homely accommodation

·  Medical care

·  School facilities

·  Pastoral consultation

·  Prenatal classes

·  Social counselling and therapy

·  Psychological services

· Out patient counselling services

For any organisation of this nature, funding and community support
remains a challenge. We have a special project with which we aim to
raise funds for the centre. You can become involved by sponsoring
a bed for one of the girls at the centre.

This project is under strict supervision and control of a governing body,
the government as well ad independent auditors. We will greatly appreciate any assistance from you
!
